Neymar, 31, spends most of his leisure time at his Rio de Janeiro home with family and friends.

The property has a large garden with a variety of amenities for the Paris Saint-Germain star to enjoy.

He can swim in any of his numerous swimming pools.

While the football star and his friends can race around a specially created go-kart course.

Neymar and girlfriend Bruna Biancardi might even have a tennis match on his private court.

The grounds of the estate also include an artificial lake, which has produced problems.

His father, Neymar Sr, was jailed for “environmental crime” after reportedly carrying out “banned” work on the property, according to Brazilian site Uol Sport.

Neymar Sr is said to have been arrested in an operation carried out by Mangaratiba City Hall and the Civil Police in response to a complaint.

Mangaratibas’ environment secretary, Shayenne Barreto, is said to have issued a fine of five million Brazilian reals, or £822,000.

Neymar Sr. is thought to have been released.

The problem appears to be caused by the manmade lake, which allegedly “promotes deforestation, rock breaking, and river diversion.”

The operation is claimed to have been led by Mangaratiba’s Municipal Environment Department.

The Environmental Military Police and agents from the municipality’s Environmental Protection Group are said to have assisted them.

In April, Neymar Jr. and Bruna announced that they are expecting their first child together.

All is not well, though, as the footballer recently apologized on Instagram for making a “mistake.”

He captioned a photo of himself with Bruna, 29, “Bru, I do this for both of you and your family.”

“Justify the unjustifiable. No need to. But I need you in OUR lives.

“I saw how much you were exposed, how much you suffered with all of this and how much you want to be by my side. And I stand beside you.

“I made a mistake. I did wrong with you all.

“I dare say that I make mistakes every day, on and off the pitch. But my mistakes in my personal life I resolve at home, in my privacy with my family and friends…

“All of this hit one of the most special people in my life. The woman I dreamed of having by my side, the mother of my child. It hit your family, which is now my family. It hit your privacy in such a special moment that is maternity.”
