Montero Hill, better known as Lil Nas X to his mιllιons of Instagram and TikTok fans, declared earlier this month that he had “officially become a homeowner.” Records now show that everyone’s favorite 21-year-old country-rap cowboy hybrid has driven out to the valley with his horse and Porsche and spent around $2.4 mιllιon on a renovated 1950s home in a quiet Sherman Oaks neighborhood.

The hillside property went through a significant refurbishment over the previous four years before it was last sold in 2017 for little under $1 mιllιon. The old town road leads to a two-car garage that is perched high above the street; beyond a waterfall that overflows into a pond, one may enter the crystalline front door. Large great room with separate dining and living spaces and a linear fireplace built into a stone mantel is surrounded by wide-plank hardwood floors. Recessed lighting can be found dotted throughout monolithic areas of completely white walls and ceilings.
