This incident happened on September 26, when a local resident named Leanne Skinner and her friend were walking when they heard a kitten meow, so they searched all over the bushes but could not find any cat.

Suddenly they realized that maybe the kitten was stuck in the tree, but the tree was too tall for them to see it. So they immediately informed the animal welfare organization “Royal Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals” (RSPCA for short).

However, the RSPCA responded that they had to wait for the kittens to be trapped for more than 24 hours before coming to the rescue because cats will usually find a way to get down from the tree.

The next day the kitten was still trapped, so the RSPCA went with the local fire brigade to rescue it, but it was unsuccessful. They used ladders to climb the tree 12 meters above the ground. They saw the cat, but it climbed higher and higher.

The RSPCA said it would return to see the cat’s condition the next day. At the same time, Ms. Leanne (36 years old) posted a post on Facebook in the hope that local people could come to support. Her post has been very well received. Someone brought a mobile crane, someone tried to use a fishing net to save the kitten, and another tried to use food to lure it down.

After all attempts failed, a local scaffolding company called AP Scaffolding Services erected a four-story scaffold next to the tree and placed water and

food on it in an attempt to lure it down.

The company posted a post on Facebook saying: “We did our best to save this kitten. Tonight there is still no news that the cat has been brought down. We have put water and food on it for him, will come back tomorrow to check.”

On September 29, the company posted a post on Facebook saying that this trapped kitten was finally saved and reunited with its owner.
