CRISTIANO RONALDO and his eldest child Cristiano Jr. worked out together in the searing heat of Dubai during the Premier League winter break.

The 36-year-old athlete and his teammate and fellow Portuguese national Diogo Dalot were observed earlier in the week engaging in a joint workout session.

And the five-time Ballon d’Or is maintaining his fitness in the Middle East at the Nad Al Sheba Sports Complex – a well known spot for warm weather training.

Ronaldo posted two snaps of him playing football with Cristiano Jr wearing nothing but shorts and trainers.

While everything was going on, his son, who was 11 at the time, was decked out in full United training gear.

Ronaldo wrote in the caption of the photo he uploaded to Instagram, “Present and future.”

Ronaldo and his family, which includes his pregnant partner Georgina Rodriguez, have been making the most of their time off together in the United Arab Emirates.

The former Real Madrid and Juventus star recently disclosed that he has not yet given Cristiano Jr. a cell phone because he does not want him to become “obsessed with technology.”

When asked at the Al Wasl Plaza in Dubai if technology had played a role in Ronaldo’s meteoric rise to fame as a football player, Ronaldo responded, “Definitely it helps a lot.”

“It benefitted me and the people here, as well as people all over the world, and I believe that we need to take advantage of that, but at the same time, we shouldn’t be obsessed with it.

For instance, I can offer you a general idea of what to expect.

“Daddy, can I have a phone? Daddy, can I have a phone? Daddy, can I have a phone?” “My oldest child is going to be 12 years old soon, and he asks me every time, ‘Can I have a phone?’”

“I tell Cristiano that you have time,” I tell him, “I know you’re busy.”

“Although I am aware that today’s youth are more technologically savvy than previous generations were at the same age, I do not believe that our society should become overly preoccupied with technological advancement.”

Give it to them, but just for a limited time and don’t give it to them constantly. In this case, I believe that to be the most important issue.
