Chevrolet Camaro RS/SS “White Hat” Shows Coke Bottle Widebody

A 1969 Chevrolet Camaro with the RS appearance package is hardly the type of machine that needs assistance in the looks department – elements such as the headlight covers or the rear fender decoration vents make sure the Chevy gets all the attention. Then again, there will always be gearheads seeking a custom look and this is where projects like the rendering we have here come in handy.

This pixel portrait grabs the said 69 Camaro RS/SS and takes the thing to a whole new visual level. Fortunately, the added aero bits we have here aren’t overdone, even though certain aficionados, who identify as purists, might not agree with this.

And, regardless of which engine option is found on this car, that SS badge means the pedal on the right can cause some serious trouble (think: between 300 and 375 hp, or even 430 hp for the dealer-installed 427 V8).

Returning to the aero work, it all starts up front and if we look under the chrome bumper of the muscle car, we’ll find a piece that sits somewhere between an air dam and the kind of lower fascia fitted to moder machines.

Then we have the meatier fenders: while the front units pack a milder approach, those at the back pack some extra beef, air intakes and all (sadly, these cover the factory units mentioned in the intro).

The posterior of this Chevrolet Camaro shows an uber-clean look. So not only has the fascia maintained its factory appearance, but the exhaust tips have been relocated and these now leave the car just before the rear wheels. Of course, the LED light bars inside the classic taillights are a delight, at least for restomod fans.

The connection to the road has been redefined using modern-looking wheels, albeit with a simple design, along with an air suspension that allows the car to be displayed in the manner seen here – we must thank digital artist Danny Berry for this eye candy.
