In August 2023, Britney Spears’ sons Sean Preston and Jayden will relocate with their father to Hawaii. While Britney Spears and Kevin Federline have agreed on the move, the mom and her kids are still yet to see each other. In fact, Spears hasn’t seen her teenage sons in well over a year, following their public spat about her behavior on social media. But now, given that a relocation is in view, Sean and Jayden may need to see their mom one last time. However, Spears’ ex Kevin Federline has reportedly said he won’t be forcing his sons. According to him, they will decide if they want to see her.
Britney Spears’ Sons Have the Final Say
Britney Spears and Kevin Federline were happily married for three years until they parted ways in 2007. Following their divorce, Federline was given sole custody of their kids. At some point, Spears’ relationship with her sons went sour, and now, things might even worsen. According to reports, Sean and Jayden are moving to Hawaii with their father in the summer. While the big relocation is only a few weeks away, Britney Spears’ sons have still not yet seen their mother. Insiders have revealed that despite all that has happened, Federline is encouraging Sean and Jayden to meet with Spears before they move. However, the 45-year-old dancer will not force them against their will. According to the insiders, Sean and Jayden will decide if they want to see Spears. But for now, the duo are yet to make any decisions.
Britney Spears Agrees to the Relocation
In May 2023, Spears agreed to Federline’s request to relocate to Hawaii with their sons. According to reports, Federline approached his ex-wife’s lawyer, Mathew Rosengart, to ask for consent regarding his moving plans. The actor reportedly gave a deadline on the response, threatening to take the matter to court if Spears refused. A few days before the deadline, Rosengart answered, confirming Spears had agreed to the move. The relocation will also include Federline’s wife, Victoria Prince, and their two young kids, Jordan and Payton.
Shortly after Britney consented, the Baby One More Time hitmaker took to Instagram to share a throwback picture of Sean. In the photo, Spears strolled through a parking lot while holding her oldest son in her arms. The songstress wore a long-sleeved, ruffled blue blouse and denim shorts. In the caption, the star penned two pink emojis. In the following weeks, Instagram fans saw other posts featuring Britney Spears’ sons. Overall, the love the mom of two has for Sean and Jayden is evident. Hopefully, Britney Spears and Kevin Federline’s sons will decide to say goodbye to the singer.
