Ram Air III–Powered 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge Coupe 4-Speed

This 1970 Pontiac GTO Judge coupe was delivered new to Jimmie Ruth Motors of Henryetta, Oklahoma, and was acquired by the owner in 2022. The car is powered by a replacement 400ci Ram Air III V8 mated to a Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission and is finished in orange over black vinyl upholstery. Features include power steering, power front disc brakes, a Ram Air hood, an Endura front bumper, “The Judge” decals, an eyebrow stripe kit, an “airfoil” rear wing, a hood-mounted tachometer, a Hurst shifter, an AM radio, and 14″ Rally II wheels. This GTO Judge is now offered on dealership consignment with a build sheet copy and a Delaware title.

The body is finished in orange and is said to have been repainted under previous ownership. Features include a body-colored Endura front bumper, chrome rear bumper, Ram Air hood, and a hood-mounted tachometer as well as a driver-side mirror, decklid-mounted “airfoil” wing, tricolor graphics, and “Judge” decals on the front fenders.

The 14″ Rally II wheels wear PMD-branded center caps and are mounted with 235/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires. A full-size spare is mounted in the trunk. The car is equipped with power steering, and braking is handled by power-assisted front discs and rear drums.

The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in black vinyl as well as a Hurst shifter, a push-button AM radio, a “The Judge” badge on the glovebox door and floor mats, and retractable lap belts.

The three-spoke steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a Rally clock, and a combination gauge. Three auxiliary gauges are mounted below the center of the dashboard. The five-digit odometer shows 12k miles, approximately 50 of which have been added under current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.

The replacement 400ci Ram Air III V8 was installed under previous ownership and features a four-barrel carburetor and polished valve covers.

Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a replacement Muncie M20 four-speed manual transmission. A dual exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers has been installed. The shifter linkage is said to have been replaced in 2022.
