Ronaldo’s Luxurious Getaway: Discovering the Extravagance of His Madeira Holiday Home

Cristiano Ronaldo is said to have hired THIS gorgeous oceanfront home for his family before traveling back to Italy during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Al-Nassr striker, who was then playing for Juventus, chose the six-bedroom, £3,500-per-week home in a rural area close to the fishing village of Canical after growing weary of his opulent flat in Funchal, the capital of Madeira, during the first lockdown.

The celebrity moved to the Middle East at the end of last year and now resides in an incredible Saudi estate.

But in 2020, Ronaldo, then 36, shared a video of himself and girlfriend Georgina Rodriguez running up a ramp next to a red-roofed home with a big garden. This was very different from the urban seven-story apartment he had purchased in 2019 and had been residing in during the coronavirus lockdown.

“PERFECT HOLIDAY HOME”

Six people can stay at Ronaldo’s rented villa, which includes a large pool in a beautiful garden with palm trees, breathtaking views of the Atlantic, and easy access to the beach below. The villa is in a gated community and contains six bedrooms.

Additionally, it offers an outside BBQ and a games room with a snooker table.

It is referred to as “very private” and the “ideal holiday home for a family or group of friends” on the local real estate website Madeira-legacy.com.

Ronaldinho Jr., Eva, and Matteo, along with Cristiano and Georgina’s children, were rumored to have unwinded there.

According to a source reported in the magazine Vidas of Correio da Manha, “He thought he wanted space, that he was feeling a little stifled behind four walls.

“Of course, this new property is more private and has a larger garden. Cristiano has a tranquil lifestyle down pat.

It is believed that Ronaldo’s mother Dolores Aveiro, who had a stroke last year, and his older brother Hugo remained in Funchal.

The player purchased the seven-story apartment building in 2019 so he could enjoy the top two floors and its rooftop swimming pool when he was in town. They reside on the lower floors.

Due to the lack of privacy Cristiano experienced when living in Funchal, when he went for a quick walk with his family, they were surrounded by admirers, who took images of them that quickly went viral.

Days previously, Georgina was seen shopping as well.

Canical has about 6,000 residents and is located a half-hour drive east of Funchal. It features a whale museum and was the epicenter of the whaling industry up until the early 1980s.

Canical-born Emanuel Santos created the weird statue of Cristiano that was ridiculed all over the world after it was inaugurated at the airport in Madeira in March 2017.

On a roundabout near the village’s entrance is one of the sculptures he created before the Ronaldo bust was presented, depicting two fishermen sitting in a small fishing boat.
