IShowSpeed breaks down in tears and quits YouTube stream after being fooled into thinking Cristiano Ronaldo had died

ISHOWSPEED has made the headlines again with the internet star’s reaction to fake reports of Cristiano Ronaldo’s death going viral on social media.

During a recent livestream, the YouTuber, whose real name is Darren Watkins Jr., appeared to cry as he scrolled through X posts that claimed the soccer legend had passed away.

A video that captured IShowSpeed’s reaction showed him yelling expletives and saying he “got tight” after spotting the first fake claim.

He then proceeded to read more posts that falsely stated that Ronaldo – who scored two goals in Al-Nassr’s recent 4-0 win over Al-Shabab – was dead.

“Oh my God!” the YouTuber, 18, gasped before he appeared to have started choking up.

As the stream went on, he could be seen screaming “What the f**k is going on?” repeatedly.

IShowSpeed also said: “I’m going to freak the f**k out. Stop f***ing playing.

“If y’all playing, stop playing right now, bro. Say it’s fake right now. Say it’s fake!

“If it’s fake say ‘fake,’ if it’s real say it’s ‘real.’ Right now, bro. Right now!”

IShowSpeed eventually went silent for about 20 seconds before reportedly ending the stream.

But most social media users who commented on the viral clip thought that the YouTuber only pretended he was being fooled by the death hoax.

Many of them pointed out that he could have quickly found out that Ronaldo was alive by using Google.

IShowSpeed adores Ronaldo, 38, and once flew all the way to the UK to watch him play for Manchester United – only to learn that the Portuguese star would miss the game.

The influencer met the ex-Real Madrid ace earlier this year and got to pose for a photo together while wearing his Portugal jersey.

IShowSpeed has grown a huge audience since he started streaming while playing Valorant, Roblox, Fortnite, or Fifa in 2017.

He has over 20.1million subscribers on YouTube as well as 12million followers on Instagram and 22.5million on TikTok.
