Notably, it also featured a five-a-side football pitch where Wayne and their children would practice their football skills, a fitting addition for the former Manchester United player.
According to sources, the Rooney family decided to sell their home earlier this year, just five months after moving into a larger mansion situated in the serene Cheshire countryside. The decision to part with their former abode was reportedly driven by the fact that their new house is truly extraordinary and left them with no reason to keep the previous property.
Their new mansion, which took four years to complete, is situated on a 40-acre plot in Knutsford, Cheshire. The couple purchased the land in 2017 for £4 miℓℓiо𝚗 and invested over £16 miℓℓiо𝚗 to create their dream family estate. Due to various delays, including those caused by the Covid-19 рɑnɗemic, the Rooneys were finally able to move into the six-bedroom mansion in December of the previous year.
The new mansion offers a plethora of amenities to cater to their luxurious lifestyle. It includes a television room, bar, wine store, snooker room, cinema, gym, Һоt tub, swimming pool, plunge pool, and a steam room. The house is equipped with two lifts—one for the family and another for visiting guests.
