Following her divorce from Kevin Federline and amidst a legal dispute over child custody, 2007 proved to be a challenging year for Britney. She was simultaneously striving to make a comeback through a tour while grappling with a very public breakdown. However, in November of that same year, she acquired this secluded residence in the Summit enclave of Beverly Hills for a price of $6.8 million.
Taking inspiration from Mediterranean architecture, the villa offered Britney the seclusion she sought during this tumultuous phase in her life. It gained a reputation as being impervious to prying paparazzi, situated like a fortress within a gated community. Encompassing a vast expanse of 7,500 square feet, the home boasted high ceilings, stone flooring, and a dazzling chandelier adorning the spacious hallway.
Six bedrooms are accompanied by seven bathrooms, among which is the luxurious master suite featuring an imposing fireplace and a personal balcony. In addition to this, a generously-sized family room, a chef’s kitchen, a theater, and separate living quarters for household staff were present – truly an ideal dwelling for a private pop royalty!
The lower-level rooms seamlessly connected to the backyard, which boasted well-manicured gardens, lavish landscaping, a custom-designed swimming pool, and a firepit. Britney listed the property for sale in both 2008 and 2010, eventually parting with it in 2012 for $4.3 million, incurring a financial loss.
