The 1957 Chevrolet 210 comes in the form of a two-door wagon that was manufactured in Canada and was obtained by the current seller’s father back in 2006. The car underwent subsequent modifications, which included the installation of a 572ci V8 engine, a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, and a Ford 9″ rear end. Alongside these changes, the body received a refinishing in a metallic orange shade and was mounted onto an Art Morrison chassis.
Enhanced features consist of power steering, 17″ and 18″ American Racing wheels, four-wheel Wilwood disc brakes, a coilover suspension system, power steering, two-tone gray leather upholstery, a vintage-style stereo, a Demon carburetor, MSD ignition components, and a dual exhaust setup with tubular headers and remote cutouts. This customized 210 wagon is being presented with partial records of the build process, unassembled air conditioning components, and registration from British Columbia.
The body was refinished in the current shade of orange during the refurbishment in 2006. Details include a wrap-around windshield and rear windows, a concealed fuel filler above the left taillight, chrome bumpers and trim, twin wind splits on the hood, tailfins, dual exhaust outlets, and tinted windows.
Polished 17″ and 18″ American Racing wheels are mounted with 245/45 BFGoodrich front tires and 275/40 Bridgestone rear tires. The Art Morrison chassis utilizes tubular front control arms and a four-link rear suspension and was ordered with coilover suspension, a 3″ cross member, sway bars, and power steering with a 20:1 ratio. Stopping power is provided by Wilwood calipers installed over slotted and cross-drilled rotors at each corner, along with a Wilwood brake booster and stainless-steel brake lines.
The cabin features front and rear bench seats reupholstered in a two-tone gray scheme complemented by a body-color dashboard and steering wheel. Details include front lap belts, a tilting steering column, an analog clock, and a retro-look stereo. Uninstalled air conditioning components are included in the sale.
White-dial instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer and combination gauges for oil pressure, water temperature, voltage, and fuel level. A tachometer and a digital air/fuel ratio display are mounted below the dashboard. The digital odometer shows 2,700 miles, and total mileage is unknown.
The 572ci V8 was installed by the seller and is equipped with a Demon carburetor, a high-rise intake manifold, a K&N air cleaner assembly, and an MSD ignition system. Tubular exhaust headers feed the dual exhaust system that is routed through the frame and features Flowmaster mufflers and remote cutouts.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec TKO five-speed manual transmission and a Ford 9″ rear end with a limited-slip differential, 3.70:1 gearing, and Strange Engineering 31-spline axles.
The vehicle does not have a title, as it is registered in a country that does not issue titles for vehicles. The registration lists the BC Assigned VIN pictured above. It is being sold on its British Columbia registration, which lists the vehicle status as Altered.
