1962 Cadillac Series 62 Convertible – Best Super Car

1962 CADILLAC SERIES 62 CUSTOM CONVERTIBLE - Front 3/4 - 91102

The car was completely stripped to bare metal and refinished in show quality, Jet Black paint that is contrasted by a two tone black and white interior and a white softtop. Highlights include custom made 24″ wheels, shaved door handles, shaved badges, replaced by subtle Mike Lavalee air brushed emblems and a lowered stance. The full custom interior features tailored suede inserts with white stitching, suede dash pad with contrasting white dash panel, full Dakota digital guages and a custom audio system comprised of a Kenwood deck in a custom lower console, MTX subs and MTX amp. The ride height is fully adjustable via Slam Specialties airbags hooked to dual compressors and two 5-gallon air tanks controlled by AccuAir ride height sensors and a driver adjustable AccuAir ride height controller. This makes it easy to effortlessly lift the suspension for normal driving and then slam it when you get to the show. Reliability was important so the original 390 was rebuilt but left stock other than an upgraded exhaust system and front disc brakes were added for improved stopping.
